UL 508A Certification is an industrial control panel standard, sought by electrical inspectors within North America to provide evidence that the panel complies with an acceptable safety standard.

To assist our customers with exporting products to the USA and Canada, Dunford and Pearson are registered with Underwriters Laboratory to manufacture control panels in accordance with UL508A.

We are able to provide full UL508A certification and listing for control panels and any associated cable assemblies we manufacture to this standard. Having the ability to self-certify saves our customers the costly exercise of having their control panels inspected by Underwriters Laboratories separately.

Our engineers can also advise clients on how to design products which achieve this UL compliance and work with them to produce a ‘global’ design reducing the need for multiple variants for different markets.

Our UL listed control panels and cable assemblies are manufactured under stringent conditions with regular inspections/audits undertaken by UL.
